A few years ago I had an assistant that decided I needed a nickname. She started to call me Connie, or Constance when she was frustrated with me, and it stuck. When I began selling my cards it seemed natural to call the business ...Cards by Connie. So, that's the story. I also answer to "Moo" thanks to all the children in my life, Mrs. QT Pie thanks to the wonderful husband, and hey you if someone is serving dinner.
Recently, I have begun to take my art more seriously. I am increasing the number of classes I teach and I am designing more. My hope is that through this blog I can share the schedule and photos of class projects with all of you. I am a virgin blogger so all comments and advice will be gratefully accepted.

- By day, I am a CPA specializing in Executive Coaching, strategic and tax planning for businesses. My alter ego is a multi media artist. Most of my creations are in the form of cards, collages and custom, commissioned work. (invitations, albums, gift card holders, you name it) I also teach classes in various techniques and design samples for local retail stores. I am passionate about Workforce Housing and my community. I have never met a dog I didn't like. I love life, travel and anything messy. Life IS NOT a dress rehersal, do what you love.
